Well, I'll tell you what it means and why I have had my site named Botabano since 1997 when I first signed online.
Botabano (pronounced like "got a canoe") is a word used in the Cayman Islands to describe the shape a mother sea turtle makes in the sand as she prepares to lay her eggs. Sort of like the snow angels of the seashore.

One quarter of my ancestors are from the Cayman Islands and many relatives still live there. It is where my husband and I got married and had our honeymoon and is still our favorite vacation spot.

So, botabano is a word that evokes special memories for me. Maybe you won't forget it, either :-).
